The resort grew around a 1912 homestead estate built just six months after Arizona became a state. In fact, the family living room is just off the lobby and features the original hardwood floor, stone hearth, wrought-iron chandeliers and ocotillo-ribbed ceiling. The entire property has been integrated into the natural surroundings, including nature paths and indigenous plant life throughout the grounds. While staying at the Westward Look Resort, guests can choose to stay connected (or not) via the property-wide Wayport wireless internet access.
Southwestern-style guest accommodations are spacious and serene, each with its own balcony or patio offering spectacular views of the mountains, desert, sunset or city lights. The 244 guestrooms are spread throughout the 80 acre property with outside entrances surrounded by the natural environment of the Tucson desert.
204 of our guest rooms are suite-sized accommodations featuring both bedroom and sitting areas, plus generous bathroom and dressing areas. Two executive suites are also available, one with an outdoor firepit. Stargazer Spa Rooms feature private outdoor hot tubs in an enclosed courtyard.
