Bisbee

This booming silver mining town was known as "Little San Francisco" in its heyday. It has old-world charm, historic architecture, art galleries,
shops, and the "Queen Mine" tours. It's less than two hours from Tucson.

Kartchner Caverns State Park

This stunning limestone cave was discovered in 1974, but just opened to the public in 1999 after years of planning in order to preserve its
delicate ecosystem. The cave tour is in high demand and is usually booked months in advance.

Nogales, Sonora, Mexico

The main attraction of this border city is shopping for Mexican glassware, ceramics, leather goods, tin wares, fabrics and lacquered wood
and furniture. There are also many fine restaurants featuring fresh seafood and Sonoran-style Mexican fare. It's located approximately 90
minutes south of the resort.

Tombstone

"The Town Too Tough To Die" rose to fame or infamy, when silver ore was discovered in huge quantities in 1877. Its 13 years as a boom town
featured saloons, sheriffs, then high society as Tombstone vied with San Francisco for title of "Queen City of the West". Boothill Cemetery, the
O.K. Corral and the Crystal Palace Saloon are popular attractions. They are located approximately 70 miles from the resort. Most shops, museums
and restaurants are open daylight hours year-round.

Tubac

This is a historic village along the Santa Cruz River featuring a Latin American marketplace and many art galleries and shops.
