Westward Look Creates Sales Dream Team

Posted on September 5, 2013

Tucson, Ariz. (September 05, 2013) – Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa announces three key promotions: Sonia Hammrich to Director of Sales; David Toler, stepping into Hammrich’s former role as Assistant Director of Sales; and Brittania Tobin, to on-property Revenue Manager.

“Both Sonia and David have track records as creative, proactive top producers,” said David Yamada, General Manager of Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa. “We are excited to have them step into their new roles in September, when Tucson returns to peak season for tourism, events and weddings. Brittania has been a crucial member of our reservations team at the time of transition. Her positive, can-do spirit and sound knowledge base is at the core of her leadership.”

Director of Sales Sonia Hammrich has been with the resort as Assistant Director of Sales since 2007. A top producer who has continued to develop many of the resort’s longtime accounts, Hammrich is a major contributor to overall sales and community outreach efforts.

Assistant Director of Sales David Toler joined Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa as Senior Sales Manager in July from the Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square. In his previous position, Toler was a 2012 Wyndham Platinum Circle Winner and part of the 2012 Wyndham Sales Team of the Year.

On-property Revenue Manager Brittania Tobin steps up from her role as Reservations Supervisor. In her new role, Tobin will continue to provide invaluable input and insight on the marketplace, as well as contribute her expertise in property systems and production.

The new leaders will enhance already high product and service levels for Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa. The property has undergone several transitions in recent months, including a major renovation for GOLD, the resort’s flagship fine-dining restaurant; the expansion of the Chef’s Garden to increase the use of locally sourced, organic produce; and the upcoming launch of a new website.
