Specialty Gardens
Westward Look Resort is an 80-acre botanical garden. More than 240 plant species are identified around the grounds. Many are native to this region or similar arid environments around the world. We also have four specialty gardens:
Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden
This colorful and fragrant garden attracts desert pollinators with a variety of seasonal blooms. It's located in the grassy area near the lower pool.
Wellness Garden
This garden showcases native botanicals like sage, jojoba and aloe, which are used in our desert-inspired spa treatments.
It's adjacent to the Sonoran Spa.
Herb Garden
This fragrant tumble of herbs is on a slope just off the GOLD terrace. Lush green rosemary and other herbs are accented with colorful chilies and edible flower.
Chef's Garden
This organic garden provides a bountiful harvest of ingredients that have been grown in the Southwest for centuries.
