Valentine’s Day Lunch a Treat for Everyone

True romantics feel no need for a special holiday to celebrate love, right? And Valentine’s Day doesn’t always fall during a time when everyone is partnered up. Still, when Feb. 14 rolls around, there are so many opportunities for “love-ly” events, consider checking them out to treat yourself or someone who you really, really like.

Such as? How about Valentine’s Day lunch surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran Desert? Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa has cooked up a delightful “Spoil the One You Love” lunch, Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy three courses at $25 per person (excluding sales tax and gratuity).

Choose from Butternut Squash & Granny Smith Apple Soup or a Butter Lettuce Salad; Pistachio Dusted Salmon or Breast of Chicken stuffed with brie and leeks; and Vanilla Bean Torte with strawberry butter cream or White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake with berry coulis. The Sonoran Spa also has a Valentine’s Day special, “Heavenly Meltdown: A Couples Treatment,” which includes a Butter Brûlée milk steam towel wrap, Sweet Cream salt scrub, Sundae Best Chocolate Softening Mask and Sweet Cream Body Milk Lotion Massage. Of course, we’ve also got you covered for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner in Tucson. A special three-course Valentine’s dinner will be served in GOLD Feb. 14-15 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. for $59 per person with coffee and tea service (excluding tax and gratuity). Diners may choose from a first course of Marinated Roasted Stuffed Artichoke, Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup with Braised Rabbit, Pan-Seared Crab Cake, Bouquet of Baby Greens or Smoked Mountain trout Napoleon. The main course consists of a choice of Pan-Roasted Alaskan Halibut, Tournedos Rossini, Duck Breast au Poivre, Vegetable Cannelloni or Berkshire Pork Chop. Nothing tops off a romantic dinner better than delectable desserts. Choose from White Chocolate Raspberry Bomb, Bailey’s Caramel Chocolate Pâté or Red Velvet Torte with mocha-vanilla sauce.
